## Job Description
This position is based in Hayward, WI and relocation assistance for the candidate selected will be provided. The purpose of the Aviation Maintenance Technician is to assist the Director of Maintenance as needed to maintain the airworthiness of our fleet of aircraft which currently includes a Bombardier Challenger 300, Cessna Citation Bravo, (2) Cessna Citation Mustangs and a Robinson R44 Helicopter. We are looking for a team player who can contribute broadly to the organization, and a person who understands the dynamic needs of a corporate flight department. The role requires the technician to work a variable shift, dependent upon the flight schedule of the aircraft.
Aircraft wing walking, aircraft checks including pre and post flight checks
Participates in the dismantling, overhauling, repairing, replacing, assembling and erecting all parts of aircraft, engines, instruments, electrical systems, heating systems, hydraulic systems and machine tool work in connection therewith
Appropriately documents maintenance findings, progress and work accomplished through manual and automated recordkeeping. When approved and listed on Authorized Inspectors Roster, inspects work performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians.
Corrects aircraft and engine discrepancies noted during base inspections and after flight
Installs and removes engines, builds up or tears down engines during engine change
Accomplishes powerplant hot section inspections
Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established Company safety rules and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe and clean work area
Refuels, defuels, services oxygen, and replenishes aircraft systems
Participates in general cleaning of aircraft and hangar facilities
Aids in mechanical repairs and maintenance planning for other aspects of the business including airport vehicles and Event Marketing vehicles on occasion and as required
## Job Requirements
FAA A&P; certificate (Inspector Authorization preferred)
Avionics experience in Garmin G1000/3000 and Collins Pro Line 21
2
years turbine aircraft maintenance experience (Bombardier Challenger 300, Cessna Citation Bravo, Cessna Citation Mustang or Robinson R44 preferred)
Practical understanding of technical resources for aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting
Knowledge of modern Quality Assurance methods
Microsoft Office proficiency
High school diploma or higher (Prefer 4 year BA/BS degree)
Valid Driver's License
Ability to qualify for federal airport security badge
Must be able to work a variable shift which includes evening and some weekend hours.
Good communication skills
Must be exceptionally reliable and very timely
